The electron , prisoner of the atom, whirling with the giddy speed of light
around its nucleous, in a relentless curb of perpetual unrest
Imagines it is solitary and independant
The proud giant star pursuing its majestic course all alone
looks with disdain at the myriad sparks strewn in space
does not perceive its kinship with billionj other isolated like itself,
and lives unaware of its origin, the immense nebula, Mother of stars.
We live in the illusion of our separate being behind the walls of transient motives.
Let us come out of this ivory tower of joyless insulation.
Our faltering steps hold back our soaring to the heights
where the Magnificent Presence warms the hearts when the light fails.
O mysterious One,
Thou who dwellest in the race,in the mighty atoms and the incipient stars,
In the incommensurable universe and the pregnant Beyon
May we become aware of Thee
May we find our unity in Thee,
O magnificent Presence
