Desire , you are a liar, you do not know the way

You had  promissed me happiness at the seventh milestone
I walked for so long, enticed by your lies without rest nor sleep,
my nerves torn apart from tension
But when I arrived at the seventh  stone, with a shameless face,
as a prophet you told me ” still some metres more”
I swallowed the bait and continued my road my back hunched under the load
And happines always some metres further away.
Some metres became soon kilometres ! How long will this comedy  last?

But now I aspire at a life of joy today and forever
I do not want any longer to  be abused  by your too bright promisses

You have forced so much my pace that I could never enjoy the flowers, the lacs and the mountains.
The bread and drink you gave me have torn my stomach and ruined my liver.

Please now, go away from here and go away quickly!
It is time for me to stroll and to discover mysterious hidden flowers
The true joy will be always with me now
Nevertheless let us not part as ennemis,
Who knows !  may be you have helped me on the way.

Please do not  forget to close very well the door behind you
As you are going out of my life.
